The Deacons serve with the Elders to meet the various needs of the church body. The Deacons are deemed before the state of Texas to be the Trustees of the church.

John Vance
- The deacons are nominated and then elected by the the church congregation to serve a 3 year term.
- Deacon chairman is elected by the deacons.
- Deacon qualification are found in the church by laws and detailed in 1 Timothy.
- Interior Church Maintenance
- Tim Johns and Ron Sears are the deacons designated to address issues relating to needed repairs, etc.

Deacon Duties
- The deacons are responsible for all financial matters affecting the church
- The deacons are held responsible for legal matters affecting the church
- The deacons may enter into or cancel church contracts
- The deacons take an active part in each Sunday church service as to collection of gifts and distribution of communion
- The deacons meet the first Sunday afternoon of each month to review and discuss church financial matters
- The deacons work closely to honor the directives and wishes of the pastors, elders, and the church congregation
