Worship is an important aspect of what we do here at Grace. As we gather together each Sunday we have the opportunity to corporately express our love and devotion to God. However, worship does not end there but continues as we daily live our lives in obedience to God and his word.
As we do join together for worship each week, it is our desire not to just worship God with our words but to do so with our hearts. It is then that we have become the true worshipers that God seeks (John 4:23). God wants us to be passionate about our love for Him.
Of course one key aspect of worship throughout church history has been music. It is our goal for the music in our services to be first and foremost pleasing to God. He is the audience of our worship. It is also important that our musical style connect with people so that we can all worship God from our hearts and not just sing songs from our heads.
The one thing that we cannot do is lose sight of the purpose of worship which is to exalt the God who loves each of us enough that He sent His son as a sacrifice for us.
