Missions Program

To be actively involved in and share the responsibility with those whom God has called to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…”

Missions Committee

To maintain the purpose of and oversee all aspects of the Missions Program.

Missions Policy

To guide and direct the Missions Committee in the processes and activities associated with the various elements of Grace Community Bible Church’s involvement in missions.

Missions Strategy

• To have missions viewed as the natural and vital “end” of all church work.  Some will be sent while others will be senders and supporters.  Every believer must become aware of his or her role in the missions efforts of Grace Community Bible Church.

• As a matter of stewardship, we will place primary emphasis of our time, talents and money on sending and supporting men, women and organizations whose ministry call matches that of the church, that is, Transforming Lives by God's Grace for God's Glory by obedience to Christ’s great commission, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”  Matthew 28:19-20

• As a matter of priority we will focus the larger portion of our efforts on unreached, or under-reached areas of the world.  We will seek to direct the majority of our missions budget towards our highest priority, or “focus”, ministry areas.  We will partner, or network, with other churches or organizations to accomplish missions goals and support the needs of missionaries in the field.

• We will utilize individuals and, especially, teams in short-term opportunities to assist our supported missionaries and mission organizations.  These opportunities can also be used as further testing of individuals and for the exposure of promising candidates to the call of God for missions work.
